Mitsui Electric

About Mitsui Electric

Industrial power equipment brand — generators, power stations, hybrid inverters and battery systems for standby and off-grid applications.

History

Mitsui Electric was founded in 1965 to build standby power equipment for regions with unreliable grids. The remit has not changed since — the product line is limited to what the brand knows well: diesel generators, stationary power stations, petrol backup units, hybrid inverters, and portable battery systems.

Current production runs at contract factories in Asia under a single engineering standard and quality-control regime. Critical components (alternators, control panels) are sourced from trusted international suppliers.

European operations

We import Mitsui equipment directly from the factory into our UK warehouse. That means our prices reflect factory pricing plus logistics, without a trader margin — and spare parts stay in stock alongside new units.

European grids have their own quirks: sudden voltage swings, extended outages, sub-zero winter starts. Every unit for our market ships with reinforced engine pre-heat (rated to −30 °C), a dust-protected air intake and an ATS panel tuned for 400 V ± 15% grid instability.

Warranty and service

Standard warranty is 24 months or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first. Service partners are available in London and across the EU. On-site engineer visits for stationary installations are arranged on request.

Scheduled maintenance contracts and warranty extensions up to five years are available separately.
